AGH Atari 2600 Review:
FAST FOOD

by Telesys

Fast Food
I'm going to warn you now, because the subject of this game is food, glorious food! Don't attempt to play on an empty stomach. This is food of the fast-serve variety; there are hamburgers, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, french fries, ice cream, milk shakes, colas, pickles root beers and pizzas just waiting to be consumed by the voracious Mouth.

In Fast Food by Telesys, all the food is scored individually acording to the caloric content. It flys by pretty quickly but all of it is edible and Mouth moves up, down, forward and back to be in a position to gobble the treats. Just don't eat the purple pickles, because consuming six of them will cause you to burp out.

The visuals are good (especially the animation of the mouth chomping) and the action modestly entertaining for the first few plays. But it quickly gets dull and repetitive. Yeah, I know.. most classic games are repetitive, but Fast Food is dull repetition for the most part. It's not difficult to learn or too challenging to succeed. There are no complicated tricks to learn, no codes, no strategy. Just go to it and do what you know that you do best! I know I won't.
