The Best Electronics Revision 10 Atari Catalog/Reference Manual is
now available!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Best Electronics and its
well-renowned Catalog/Guide, it has been a source of reference and
prices of Atari products for over ten years. Revision 9 was originally
made available in 1992, but Best has definitely outdone themselves
with the effort they put forth in Revision 10. Some of the highlights
in the new Catalog/Guide include:
Quadruple the number of pages over their last Rev. 9 catalog.
Over 330 pictures of Atari products, accessories and replacement
parts throughout the catalog.
Pictures of Atari Prototype products, engineering samples and
one-of-a-kind, handmade proposed Atari products never before
seen by the public.
Over two thousand new Atari products, accessories and replacement
parts.
More top-rated "The Best" series of Atari replacement parts.
More Best Information Tips (30+) and new Tech Tips (50+).
A new catalog index for easy Atari item searches.
Complete Atari I/O Connector drawings and specifications on
just about every Atari product ever made.
It's precisely because of such contributions to the Atari
community, such as with the Rev. 10 Catalog/Reference Manual, that Best
Electronics has earned a stellar reputation of being the hobbyist's
ultimate Atari source for sales, service and customer support.
They're not only just a dealer that stocks a ton of Atari systems, parts,
accessories and software. Brad Kota and his staff are extremely
knowledgeable when it comes to any and all things Atari, and they're
professionals at handling inquiries from novice and expert
users alike.
Everyone from tech wizards, collectors, historians and
hardware hackers simply cannot do without this terrific resource.
It is of AGH's contention that any work that benefits the hobby
should be supported to the fullest extent, and anyone who claims
to be a Atari fan should reward Best's effort in comprising the
Revision 10 Catalog/Reference Manual.
Brad has also mentioned that his next project is to make a CD
version of the catalog. However, he has made it clear that
he has no intention of going ahead with the project unless
there is sufficient demand for such a product. If you'd like
the CD to become a reality, purchasing the existing print
version of the Rev. 10 catalog would do wonders in
showing him that a CD version is something we'd all like to see!
